1. Who runs this site
This site is operated by JosΓ© Manuel Volante GonzΓ‘lez (NIF 49108819R), a sole operator based at C/ Zafra 5, 21310 La Zarza (Huelva), Spain. For any privacy question, email microtools.contact@gmail.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line.
2. What this site does and does NOT collect
The Temu / Shein Tariff Impact Checker is a client-side calculator. The cart subtotal, product category, country of origin, and shipping you type into the tool are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to a server. There is no backend that stores your inputs or results.
The site has no user accounts, no registration, no login, no subscriptions, and no paid features. We do not ask you to "sign up", and we do not process purchases β the tool is free to use anonymously.
3. Technical data and analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint individual visitors. The only technical data observed is the aggregate kind that any web request produces β page visited, approximate region, referrer, and an anonymised IP β used solely to count traffic in aggregate. No advertising cookies or cross-site trackers are set by us.
4. Lawful basis (for EU/UK visitors)
- Technical operation of the site: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) β providing a functional, secure web service.
- Handling email enquiries: your consent, given by sending the message (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
5. Retention
- Cloudflare technical logs: 7 days (Cloudflare default).
- Web Analytics aggregates: anonymous, 6-month retention.
- Email correspondence: up to 2 years after the last interaction.
6. Your rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), and limit the use of sensitive personal information (we collect none). EU/UK visitors have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR/UK GDPR. To exercise any right, email the address in section 1.
7. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. EU residents may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, https://www.aepd.es/); UK residents the Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk).
